200ml fresh lemon juice
500g fine sugar
For the Cocktail (makes 850ml, enough for 10)

Directions
For the Syrup: Put the listed components in a saucepan, heat until it reaches a simmer, stirring so the sugar melts. Next, take off the heat allowing it to cool entirely. Transfer into a sealable bottle, close it keeping it in the fridge, it will last for up to four weeks.
To make Premix: Pour all the liquids in a big jug, let it rest for an hour, then pass it through best through cheesecloth, so it's perfectly clear.
For serving: Measure 85ml of your premix to a mixing glass filled with ice, gently stirring lightly for about 60 seconds to chill. Strain into a frosted cocktail glass or a similar vessel, garnish with some cranberries adding the final touch by giving it a quick spritz of mandarin oil above the glass.
